- KANSA WAND THERAPY -

What is KANSA WAND THERAPY?

The word Kansa comes from the Sanskrit word Kamsya, which means bronze. It is the purity of this metal that gives bronze it's powerful healing effects. The Kansa Wand helps by reducing stress and provides a gentle face-lifting therapy. This is achieved by using the bronze-capped wand and organic Essential Oils. The wand can also be placed on specific Marma points, which are vital energy points used in Ayurvedic Medicine to help with certain conditions, both physically and emotionally.

How Does it Work?

The Kansa Wand provides gentle friction to facial muscles, which helps pull acidity from the tissues. In fact, as it is used on the face, oils will often get grey or black if acids are present in the skin. Another advantage of this treatment is the subtle electrical conductivity of the bronze metal, which may explain how this therapy improves the body's natural electrical balancing system.Tools like this have been used for centuries in India to enhance health and strength, and to increase energy, and reduce stress. They are believed to be essential to optimal health and well-being. Sessions are approximately 15-20 minutes and work is done on the face starting with the forehead, going down the right side, and then up the left side and and ending back at the forehead. Small circular strokes are made, followed by larger circles around the eyes and cheek bones, and long friction strokes are made around the jaw. A longer session (45 minutes - one hour) involves the back, shoulders, and neck.
